Lent AD2012 @ St James's
The Circus and the Desert
St James’s Church is set by Piccadilly Circus, a byword all over the world for busyness and activity, a crossroads where millions of people from different cultures pass one another every day. During Lent, the season of reflection on Christ’s 40 days in the desert, we will reflect on modern life in the city; and themes that emerge from lives that are often over full of stimulus and diversion. How are we to live authentic, generous, gracious lives in contemporary London?
ASH WEDNESDAY 22 FEBRUARY
You are invited to mark the beginning of Lent by attending one or other of these Eucharists. Even includes the imposition of ashes: 0830am and 6.30pm
